ఈ పొదుపు చర్యలేమిట్రా బాబూ?
మన కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గాన్ని పొదుపు చర్యల తుఫాను ఒక ఊపు ఊపుతోంది. ప్రణబ్ ముఖర్జీ, మమతా బెనర్జీ తదితర మంత్రులు విమానాలలో ఎకానమీ క్లాసుల్లో ప్రయాణిస్తున్నారు. కానీ ఇదేమన్నా ఉపయోగమా అంటే నాకు సందేహమే. ఖ్సమించాలి, నేను ఎకానమిక్స్ లో కాస్త పూర్. కనుక వాళ్ళు చేసిన పనులు నాకర్ధమవ్వకపోవడంలో ఆశ్చర్యం లేదు. కానీ నాకున్న ధర్మ సందేహన్ని ఎవరయినా తీరిస్తే సంతోషైస్తాను.
ఇంతకీ నా సందేహం ఏంఇటంటే, వీరి పొదుపు చర్యల వల్ల మేలు జరుగుతుందా అని. వీరి పొదుపుని ఆదర్శంగా తీసుకుని దేశమంతా పొదుపు చేసిందనుకోండి, అంటే జనాలందరూ ఖర్చులు తగ్గించేస్తరు. చాలా వ్యాపారాలు దెబ్బతింటాయి. దీని వలన దేశానికి లాభమా నష్టమా?
నాకు అర్ధమయిన ఆర్ధిక శాస్త్రం ప్రకారం, డబ్బు చేతులు మారినప్పుడే పురోగతి సాధ్యపడుతుంది. అలా అని అందరూ ఖర్చుపెడితే నెత్తి మీద గుడ్డ ఖాయం. మరెలా? కేపిటలిజం సూత్రాల ప్రకారం ధనవంతులు ఎక్కువ ఖర్చు పెట్టాలి, పేదవారు ఎక్కువ పొదుపు చెయ్యాలి. ధనవంతులు పెట్టే ఖర్చు వల్ల వ్యాపారాలు నిలబడతాయి, పేదవారి పొదుపు వల్ల వారి సంసారాలు కూడా నిలబడతాయి.
ఒక కోటీశ్వరుడు పది కోట్లు ఖర్చు పెట్టి కొడుకు పెళ్ళి చెయ్యడం వృధా అని మన కమ్యూనిష్టు జ్ఞానుల ఉవాచ. వారికి తెలిసినంత ఎకానమిక్స్ నాకు తెలియదు కానీ నాదో చిన్న ప్రశ్న. ఆ పది కోట్లు ఖర్చు పెట్టడం వల్ల ఆ ధనవంతునికి నష్టం లేదు. కానీ షామియానాల వారి దగ్గరనుండీ, బాణా సంచాలు తయారు చేసే పేదవారికి ఆదాయం సమకూరదా? అంబానీ ఒక స్టార్ హోటల్లో పదివేలు ఖర్చుపెడితే అందులో కనీసం అయిదువేలన్నా పన్ను రూపంలో ప్రభుత్వానికీ, జీతాల రూపంలో హోటల్ ఉద్యోగస్తులకూ చేరవా?
ఇది కేపిటలిష్టు విధానమయినా ధనవంతుని దగ్గరనుండి పేదవాడికి డబ్బు చేరుతోంది కదా? కమ్యునిష్టులకి కావలసింది అదే కదా? పనీ పాట లేకుండా పేదవారిమని చెప్పుకుంటూ కమ్యూనిష్టు పార్టీ జెండాలు పట్టుకునే వారికి ఉత్తినే డబ్బు పంచడం కన్నా, కష్టపడీ పని చేసిన వారికి డబ్బులివ్వడం మంచిదేకదా?
ఆ ధనవంతులు ఖర్చు పెట్టకుండా పొదుపు చేస్తే ఏమవుతుంది? వారి ధనం స్విస్ బేంకులో మూలుగుతుంది! దేశానికి పన్నూ రాదు, మధ్య తరగతి, బీదవారికి ఉపాధీ దొరకదు! నాకు అర్ధమయింది ఇదే - తప్పయితే సవరించ గలరు.

వీడియోలలో విషయాన్ని ఒక్క వార్తా పోత్రిక గానీ ఒక్క టీవీ చానెల్ గానీ కవర్ చేసిన దాఖలాలు లేవు. అదే గుజరాత్ లో ఎక్కడో మారు మూలనున్న ఒక ఇల్లీగల్ దర్గా ని కూలిస్తే దానికి 3 రోజులు కవరేఝ్ ఇచ్చారుగా .. ఈ జర్నలిష్టులు మనకీ నీతులు చెప్పేది :))

తెలుగు బ్లాగుల్లో కొత్త రికార్డు: నాదెండ్ల - నాలుగొందలూ!
నా టపా http://malakpetrowdy.blogspot.com/2009/07/blog-post_6509.html కి మొదటి 24 గంటల్లో రికార్డు స్థాయిలో 400 లకు పైగా కామెంట్లతో అనూహ్యమైన స్పందన లభించింది. దీనికి కారణం ఏమిటబ్బా అని మా కెబ్లాస విశ్లేషిస్తే మూల కారణం ఆ టపా నాదెండ్ల మీద కావడమే అని తేలింది :)) - అదీ మరి సారుకున్న ఫాలోయింగ్.
ఎటువంటి బ్లాగుకయినా అమాంతంగా హిట్లుపెంచగలిగే ఈ వ్యక్తికి "బ్లాగ్ హిట్లర్" అనే బిరుదును మా కెబ్లాస డిసైడ్ చేసింది.
అన్నట్టు 400 వ కామెంటు పోస్టు చేసిన శరతే నేటినుండీ కెబ్లాస అధ్యక్షులు!!! నాదెండ్లచేత కెలికించుకున్న పాపానికి (పుణ్యానికి) శరత్ కి కెబ్లాస అధ్యక్ష పదవి దక్కింది :))

I am posting this stuff here because I think Mahesh stopped publishing my comments in his blog.
First, my response to the anonymous comments:

The reason for me getting involved in this:
I seriously feel (my apologies in advance if I am wrong) that Mahesh is trying to divert the discussion generated by his earlier comments that implied that all Men were womanizers and also the reactions on the other blogs he got in lieu of his recent poetry and the best way to bury a controversy is to raise a bigger one. Know what I mean?
Looking back at the case after reading Abhishek's comments here is what looks to me in black and white
- The posted comment does not refer to caste. It just calls somebody unworthy because that person has availed reservation.
- It is true that there are groups belonging to all sects in the US but what people dont realize is that nothing is immune to criticism. People have been criticized for getting financial aid from the Govt, getting bailouts and even the reservations fall under the same category. I am sure Mahesh knows all this but still he wants to blackmail somebody. Threatening legal action can amount to intimidating and threatening the other party too - To me all this looks like a farce!
- About the Orkut story - It became a serious case because there was a Death threat in that blog against Shiv Sena leader, which is clearly not the case here.
So, to reiterate, this just looks like a way to avoid a straight forward discussion on some of the issues by raising the other issues AND THATS ENOUGH FODDER FOR MY EYES FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS ON THE BLOGS ..
